Valdagno, January 22, 2025 – Yesterday evening, Palazzo Festari in Valdagno hosted the launch event for the new two-year ITS course “Artificial Intelligence Developer and Data Analyst”, an innovative educational initiative that paves the way for new opportunities in the technological and regional landscape.
GDS is proud to be among the 20 companies in the area that funded this project, a unique model in Italy that represents a virtuous synergy between the public and private sectors. This pilot project, developed in collaboration with ITS Digital Academy “Mario Volpato” and other institutional and business entities, showcases how collaboration can deliver practical solutions to the needs of the job market.
The two-year course is the first ITS program in Italy entirely funded by businesses. This format establishes a strong bridge between the educational system and the business world, equipping young people with advanced and targeted skills to tackle the challenges of innovation.
During the event, the Mayor of Valdagno emphasized the importance of such an initiative for the economic and social development of the region. The President of the Regional Council, Roberto Ciambetti, highlighted the strategic value of the project, which provides students with concrete tools to become key players in the technological and industrial landscape of the future.
ITS programs are a beacon of educational excellence: as presented during the event, 56% of students secure employment even before completing their studies. This achievement underscores the effectiveness of a tailored educational model designed to meet the demands of the productive system.
As a leading company in advanced technological solutions, GDS recognizes the importance of investing in education and innovation to ensure sustainable and competitive growth. Supporting initiatives like this means building the future together, fostering talent growth, and driving regional development.
