Electronic Voting kiosk
Provided with the most trustworthy components, the kiosk is structured in a way that votes are stored both in a box as a paper receipt and on a USB memory stick.
The paper votes are kept in a secure area of the kiosk housing and can’t be accessed or tampered with. The digital votes are kept in an encrypted format on a removable card to facilitate secure data management handling by the polling authorities.
Retractable wheels enable the kiosk to be easily moved into position but nearly impossible to move with the wheels in their retracted state.
The system utilizes a touch screen, printer, magnetic card reader, industrial PC, USB memory stick and ballot box.
Depending on the software that is installed, the system can provide diagnostic information and manage potential voting mistakes directly through a user interface. The voter can also choose to null the vote or to leave it blank.
