G-Bond in Lenovo laptops

GDS China has signed a contract with Lenovo China, a leading manufacturer of customer laptops (Lenovo and IBM Thinkpad brands), to include G-Bond (optical bonding) in its new ruggedized laptop series.
GDS China factory, successfully audited by Lenovo this month, will apply G-Bond on the new Zhaoyang R205 model 14.1" - 4:3 screens.
This model, an upgraded version of R2000, is designed for use in extreme environments and industries such as defense, public security, fire fighting, oil exploration, transportation and medicine.
The product can endure falls from as high as 0.9m onto a concrete surface, thanks to the AL-Mg alloy fuselage and a solid screen treatment that can absorb 83 percent of the impact power.
The product is IP 54 rated (waterproof and dustproof) and allows people to experience a true sunlight readable 14.1” screen with the advanced G-Bond technology.
